Mr. Antoniello, building on the foundation of his proven record and well-established relationships and alliances, founded GMA International Services, Inc. GMA International Services offers a collective suite of services custom-tailored to meet each client’s needs and objectives.
Mr. Antoniello served as Vice President, Transportation Systems and Equipment at Sumitomo Corporation of America (SCOA) for 25 years. He continues his longstanding relationship with Sumitomo as an Executive Advisor/Consultant supporting them and its partners across numerous business lines. Prior to his career at SCOA, Mr. Antoniello also held management positions at General Electric and The Budd Company among others. He has led market penetration initiatives for various global organizations in technology and service sectors. Mr. Antoniello’s experience includes transit systems & equipment, design build operate and maintain projects including sales/ marketing, manufacturing, construction, testing/commissioning and operations & maintenance. Mr. Antoniello is also highly experienced in providing financial support services, which include investments and acquisitions. During his career at Sumitomo, he was responsible for diversification and expansion of the business unit he headed and was often called upon to turn-around or divest investments in troubled companies.
He also helped establish and start-up management of a joint-venture between Sumitomo-Mitsubishi and Crystal Mover Services. Mr. Antoniello has become widely regarded in the business community as a specialist in market penetration and strategy formulation. He has held various positions ranging from vice chairman, board member, business unit vice president, vice president business development, program/project manager and product support manager. His “hands on experience” has earned him a reputation for establishing the most effective way forward focusing on the larger purpose while maintaining “team awareness” to clients’ and end user’s needs. He has also served and participated on the Transportation Research Board (TRB), the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), APM Standards Committee and as a board member for American Public Transportation Association (APTA).
